Fedor submits Choi at Yarennoka debut

Yarennoka's long-awaited debut ended recently at the Saitama Super Arena, in Tokyo, Japan. The Brazilians on the card, Luis Azeredo and Murilo Bustamante, ended up defeated by Tatsuya Kawajiri and Makoto Takimoto.

Azeredo spent most of the fight on the bottom, suffering strong attacks from Kawajiri who won with a unanimous decision from the judges. Murilo Bustamante, on the other hand, was better throughout the first round, but the Japanese Takimoto recovered in the second, winning the fight in a split decision, much contested by the Brazilians.

In the most anticipated confrontation of the event, the beast, Fedor Emelianenko, it was difficult at the beginning of the fight, with strong attacks from the South Korean Hong Man Choi, but the Russian played on the bottom, and even though he fell on the bottom, he reached the submission with the second armbar attempt.
