Patrick Pitbull He already has a set date for his second defense of the Bellator featherweight belt. According to information gathered by the North American website “MMA Fighting”, the Brazilian will face Georgi Karakhanyan on June 19, in the city of St. Louis, Missouri (USA), in the second most important fight of Bellator 138.

Pitbull won the belt in September 2014, defeating Pat Curran by decision. In January, he struggled against Daniel Straus, but retained his title with a fourth-round submission. In total, Pitbull has a record of 23 wins and just two losses.

Karakhanyan won the right to fight for the belt by submitting Bubba Jenkins in January, at the same event that featured Pitbull x Straus. The Russian has a record of 24 wins and four losses, and will have the chance to avenge the setback he suffered against Pitbull himself in 2011, when he was knocked out in the third round.

The main event of Bellator 138 will be between heavyweights Kimbo Slice and Ken Shamrock.
