Coach tells Aldo he warned Dana: 'If McGregor touches you, no one can stop you'

Brazilian, featherweight champion, and title challenger continue to clash on tour to promote UFC 189 fight

On a world tour to promote the main fight of UFC 189, José Aldo e Conor McGregor They experience moments of intense rivalry every day, which make it seem like a fight between the two is just a matter of time. And, if the Irishman provokes him to the point of touching his rival, the champion will not let it go for nothing.

Aldo's head coach and manager, Dedé Pederneiras, warned UFC president, Dana White, that if McGregor goes overboard with his provocations, a nasty fight could happen. Pederneiras talks about the conversation with White in the sixth episode of the series “Embedded”, produced by Ultimate and which shows behind the scenes of the press conference tour.

“I sent a message to Dana White saying the following: if he came and touched you, then he would see what would happen. Because, my brother, after you started, he, Lorenzo [Fertitta, UFC partner], could come in and by the time you left, no one would hold you back anymore”, Pederneiras told Aldo, in a telephone conversation.

Another standout moment in the video was when McGregor mocks Aldo's reaction after “steal” the Brazilian’s belt and provoke him. “If someone takes something that is yours, tells you to go get it and you do nothing, that is the biggest sign of fear I have ever seen”, says the Irishman, widely applauded by the public in Boston (USA).
