It was a surprise for me too. And I think next year I'll fight again. But it is normal. I wouldn’t fight again this year anyway”, said Spider. “(The long contract) It was a proposal from Dana and Lorenzo. And the only injury I had that was more serious was my leg. I have never had any type of injury or problem in training. I train every day. I sat down with my team to see if I could fight more. Our work is aimed at allowing me to fight for another five years. I already have my entire training schedule so I can fight for another five years. If we can get more, it will be good. It will depend on the next fights”, he added.

Furthermore, Anderson was also asked by one of the students about the chance to face Jon Jones in a superfight. The former middleweight champion reacted with good humor to the issue and did not rule out the chance to face the best pound-for-pound fighter today, or even other big names in the sport. “Wow, you really don’t like me, huh? (laughter). So, it could be a super fight with “Formiga Atômica”, it would be better. But maybe it could happen. There are several possibilities. Caught using anabolic steroids in a surprise exam before UFC 183 and also using anxiolytics in the post-fight test, Anderson Silva will be judged by the Nevada Athletic Commission on April 9. If he is guilty, the Brazilian could lose the victory against Nick Diaz, being suspended and receiving a fine corresponds to part of their salaries.
