Bethe Pitbull guarantees: 'Ronda is not all they think'

The Brazilian, who challenges the bantamweight champion in August at UFC 190, assured that her rival has already demonstrated that she is an "incomplete" fighter

The first step to defeating an opponent whose fame precedes you is to demystify him. And that is exactly what the Brazilian has already been working on Beth Pitbull, climbing to challenge the feared bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 190, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). In an interview, Bethe said she was prepared to face the blonde and assured that she will enter the Octagon to prove that perceptions about Ronda and her achievements may be a little exaggerated.

“I was born a fighter, I have this warrior spirit within me. And I think it's time to show that Ronda isn't all that people think she is. I know she's winning, but she proves to be a very incomplete fighter. To this day, honestly, every Ronda fight I watch I keep waiting for something different to happen. I'm waiting for her to show MMA, some other type of move”, declared the Brazilian, in an interview with the “SporTV” channel.

I am very confident in what I do. And this isn't just a title fight, it's a fight to defend yourself, to defend your invincibility. She doesn't want to lose, she's a fighter who hates losing, and so do I. I'm very competitive. I'm not mentally prepared to lose. I don't think anyone prepares to lose. So I will defend this tooth and nail too,” she concluded.

At 31, Beth Pitbull He has a record of nine wins in nine fights as a professional. In the UFC since December 2013, Bethe has already beaten Julie Kedzie, Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler before qualifying for a title fight.
