Jeff Monson fights at Bitetti Combat, but close to Strikeforce

Stefane Dias and Jeff Monson

After much controversy, Jeff Monson is confirmed at Bitetti Combat, an event that takes place next Saturday in Barueri. The fighter, who was announced last week on the card of the American organization Alabama Pride, denied the information and told the website SUPER FIGHTS who will fight in Brazil.

“I’m fighting in Brazil this weekend,” said Monson, through Stefane Dias, ATT’s physical trainer. The fighter also took the opportunity to analyze what the duel against the black belt will be like Glover Teixeira in this weekend.

“Even though he's a ground athlete like me, I believe the fight will end with striking and I'm well prepared,” he says.

Jeff also took the opportunity to inform that he is close to an agreement with Strikeforce.

PUBLICITY:

“After this fight at Bitetti Combat I should sign with Strikeforce, negotiations are well underway”, informed the fighter.
