The most anticipated boxing fight in recent years already has a date set to take place. The duel between the undefeated Floyd Mayweather and seven-time world champion Manny Pacquiao will take place on March 13th, with no location yet defined.
The fight between the last two boxers to dominate the rankings of the best fighters in the world has been anticipated since Pacquiao's victory over Miguel Cotto last month. After much anticipation, Bob Arum, president of Top Rank, announced this morning that Manny Pacquiao has agreed to face Mayweather in March of next year.
Some issues, such as the location of the event and the category in which the fight will take place, are still pending, but it is expected for the duel that each fighter will have a minimum purse of 25 million dollars, reaching up to 50 million for the winner.
