Despite the partial limitation of movement imposed by the amputation of part of his left leg, North American Matt Betzold has been causing a stir in the MMA community by achieving significant results in the sport and working for important organizations in the United States. Last weekend, however, Betzold suffered the fifth defeat of his career against Brazilian Rodrigo Ratinho, in a fight held at the Legacy FC 40 event.

Despite the setback, Matt Betzold left a good impression and frustrated some predictions, which pointed to an easy victory for Rodrigo. Even though he is an expert in the gentle art, the Brazilian was unable to submit his opponent, despite managing to catch his back several times. Betzold, in these cases, managed the sweep or showed quality in defensive jiu-jitsu, denying his rival's attacks.
