Kevin, Durinho, Pepey and Serrano receive performance bonuses at UFC FN 62

The UFC chose to distribute four “Performance of the Night” bonuses after the eventful UFC Fight Night 62, held this Saturday night (21) in Rio de Janeiro. The organization's president, Dana White, admitted that the task of selecting those worthy of the award was difficult, but he ended up choosing four recipients: Kevin Souza, Gilbert Durinho, Geoffrey Pepey and Fredy Serrano.

Souza put his boxing skills to good use to quickly knock out veteran Katsunori Kikuno on the show's preliminary card. Durinho, pupil of Vitor belfort, had a more difficult life, after suffering for two rounds and achieving a spectacular comeback with a submission in the third period. Pepey also managed a beautiful submission with a triangle in front of André Fili, and Colombian Serrano scored a beautiful knockout over Bentley Syler in the opening fight of the night.

Faced with the rule of distributing only four “Performance of the Night” awards, White, however, stated that he will distribute “treats” to two other fighters who shone in the attraction: “Amanda nunes e Erick silva, I will take care of you. You will get a check”, said the leader.
