It was harder than expected, but Gilbert Durinho managed to maintain his unbeaten record in MMA. In action at UFC Fight Night 62, an event held this Saturday night (21), in Rio de Janeiro, the pupil of Vitor belfort encountered many difficulties in overcoming his compatriot Alex Cowboy.
With greater scope, Alex, who was called up for the last fight to replace the injured Josh thomson, he sold the defeat hard. The underdog dominated the first two rounds, but ended up falling in the third round. Durinho took the fight to the ground in the last part and asserted his title as jiu-jitsu world champion by securing the armbar in the final seconds of the fight.
