Filipino Manny Pacquiao, after winning seven world boxing titles, decides to take a chance on a new challenge. The fighter will run as a deputy in his country, thus postponing the expected fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr, scheduled for the beginning of 2010.
“Everything will depend on developments after the elections. Manny said he doesn't want to fight until May. Maybe it will happen after the elections”, said Franklin Gacal, the boxer’s lawyer.
