the american Jake rosholt was released from his UFC contract. The fighter who stood out in college wrestling ended up being cut from the ranks of Ultimate after being defeated by Kendall Grove at UFC-106.
The athlete's manager, Ted Ehrhardt, was surprised by the UFC's decision.
“I didn’t know he was going to get cut,” Ehrhardt said. “Rosholt had one more fight on his contract, and we believed he would do this fight. He performed well (against Grove), until he got caught,” he analyzed. “He’s young, we’re going to go out, get some wins and we’ll be back”, concluded the businessman.
Rosholt lost two of his three UFC fights. The only victory was achieved by submission over Chris Leben in UFC-102, while the defeats were suffered to Dan Miller and Kendal Grove, both by submission.
