Since Georges St Pierre e B.J. Penn faced each other in 2009, the UFC does not promote a fight between two champions from different categories. Since then, many duels have been speculated, such as Anderson Silva x Georges St Pierre, Anthony Pettis x José Aldo ou Cain Velazquez x Jon Jones. However, if it depends on the rooster belt holder TJ Dillashaw, the first superfight between Ultimate champions in recent years will take place in the organization's lighter categories.

“I could definitely move down to the flyweight division. I feel like it's okay for me to fight in this division. I don't want to cut too much weight: I want to maintain my speed, because that's a big advantage for me. I can always cut some weight. Demetrious Johnson He's an excellent fighter. In my opinion, one of the best pound-for-pound in the world. His technique is impeccable, he’s a very fast guy,” said Dillashaw, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Junkie”. “My goal is to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, and to do that, I want to beat fighters like Demetrious Johnson. This is a fight I would love to do one day. We don’t have any problems with each other. He is a great champion and one of the best fighters in the world, he has great skill and is very fast. But that's what I want, fights that will boost my name and help me rank among the best in the world in all categories. This will make me a dominant champion,” he added.

At 29, TJ Dillashaw has a professional record of eleven wins and just two defeats. Before worrying about a super fight against Demetrious Johnson, however, the Californian has another big challenge ahead of him. On April 25th, in Montreal (Canada), Dillashaw puts his belt on the line for the second time in the rematch against the Brazilian Renan Barao, precisely from someone who took the title about a year ago. The duel is the main fight of UFC 186.
