With his participation in the fight that opened the main card of UFC 184, Gleison Tibau reached 25 fights in the largest MMA organization on the planet. The milestone, however, was not reached in the way the Brazilian would have liked. Before Tony Ferguson, Tibau ended up submitted in the first round.

The fight started off electrifying, with a lot of striking and hard-hitting blows from both sides. The Brazilian, however, ended up feeling a direct blow to the temple and staggered away. Unable to react, Tibau became an easy target for Ferguson on the ground, who took his back and managed the submission with a tight rear-naked choke.
Now, Gleison Tibau has a professional record of 31 wins and eleven losses. With two more fights, the Brazilian will become the athlete with the most fights in the history of Ultimate. Already Tony Ferguson reached 18 wins and three losses. The TUF 13 champion reached four consecutive victories.
Ellenberger beats Koscheck with rare submission
Jake ellenberger he hadn't won since 2013 and had accumulated three consecutive defeats, but the 29-year-old American made up for the time without winning with a rare finish over Josh koscheck: a north-south bottleneck.
Faced with an apathetic Koscheck, Ellenberger just resisted his rival's pressure on the cage and, in the second round, managed to take him to the ground and lock him in. Once again, as had already happened in the fight between Roan Jucão and Mark Muñoz, the judge took a long time to intervene. Due to the referee's passivity, Koscheck ended up blacking out and, in a very intense scene, ended up foaming at the mouth.
