The controversial Kimbo Slice had the date, location and opponent for his Bellator debut official. It will take place on June 20th, in the city of St. Louis, Missouri (USA), in front of the veteran Ken Shamrock.

Slice, whose real name is Kevin Ferguson, gained internet fame at the end of the last decade through videos of his street fights. After a few fights in professional MMA, the American entered TUF 10 and had a quick stint in the UFC, from where he was released after a victory and a defeat in the Octagon.
Shamrock, 51 years old, participated in the first edition of the UFC, in 1993, in which he ended up submitting by Royce gracie. The veteran, nicknamed “The Most Dangerous Man in the World”, has 28 wins, 15 wins and two draws in his long career. His last fight took place in 2010, in South Africa, in which he ended up being knocked out by Mike Bourke.
Slice and Shamrock already had a confirmed fight in the past, in 2008, but the veteran did not fight, claiming to have suffered a cut during the pre-fight warm-up. Precisely for this reason, Slice stated that he still thinks about defeating Shamrock. “Ken, I owe you a spanking. No more running, no more hiding,” he said.
Shamrock stated that he is still capable of performing well despite his age. "I'm back. It's good to be able to perform again for my fans. I feel great and my health is great. Kimbo Slice and I have unfinished business. I’m a fighter, that’s what I am,” he stated.
