This Wednesday (25), the octagon set up at the UFC Gym (official Ultimate gym) in Torrance, in the US state of California, became the mecca of women's MMA. This is because the cage hosted some of the biggest names in the sport, who are playing in UFC 184 and also in Invicta FC 11, which take place respectively next Friday (27) and Saturday (28) in Los Angeles, including the two biggest rivals today: Ronda Rousey e Chris Cyborg.

Cyborg, who defends her featherweight belt against Charmaine Tweet in the main fight of Invicta FC 11, performed in the morning. In the cage, the Brazilian demonstrated part of the arsenal that established her as one of the most dangerous athletes in the sport, with very sharp boxing, but without forgetting her takedown game.

Ronda, on the other hand, puts the bantamweight title at stake against Zingano cat in the main event of UFC 184, he was the star of the afternoon. The blonde, who was already in the process of cutting weight, did a very intense training session, deviating a little from the restrained movement usually presented by fighters in this type of event. The biggest moment of the training was the takedown festival presented by the Olympic judo medalist.

The fact that Cyborg would fight for Invicta on Friday and Ronda would defend her belt the following day, with both fights taking place in arenas located just a few minutes away from each other, raised expectations for a hypothetical superfight between the two. At 28 years old, Ronda has a professional record of ten wins in ten fights. Cyborg, 29 years old, has a record of 12 wins, one loss and one fight without result.
