Luiz Banha vs. Rogério Minoturo
The 105th edition of the UFC takes place today in Las Vegas. With four Brazilians on the card, the show features the debut of Fabrício “Strawberry” in Ultimate against the experienced Japanese Caol uno. On the main card, Paulo thiago, after facing quarries like Josh koscheck and Jon Fitch, faces the undefeated Jacob Volkmann. And in the fight most awaited by Brazilian fans, the Bahian Rogério Minotouro will make his debut in the Octagon against fellow São Paulo native Luiz “Banha” Cané.
“Minotouro is the most renowned and experienced athlete I have faced so far. I’m preparing myself and I want to come out of this with victory,” said Banha.
In the main fight of the night, Tito Ortiz returns to UFC against Forrest griffin in a rematch of the fight that took place in 2006. “I'm excited for it to be the main event. I will put my heart and soul in the Octagon, and I will try not to win on points. I’m going to look for a submission or a knockout – everyone will see me at my best that day”, guarantees Tito.
On the other hand, Griffin wants a rematch against the “Bad Boy” who defeated him at UFC-59. “A lot has happened since 2006, and I think I'm much better today than I was before. I want to settle accounts with Tito,” he said. Check out the full event card:
