The English Michael Page is one of Bellator's biggest bets and would be the main name of the so-called “British Invasion” scheduled for Bellator 134, next Friday (27). However, a serious cut in the eye region caused “Venom”, as he is known, to leave the card. After leaving the event, Page took to social media and showed strong images of the injury.

In a short publication, but with three photos of the cut and, later, of the wound already closed and with stitches, Page simply regretted his departure from the card in Uncasville (USA) and apologized. “I want to apologize to Bellator, the London Shootfighters academy and all my supporters,” wrote the Brit, who was replaced by Brennan ward, in your Twitter.

At 27, Michael Page has seven wins in seven fights as a professional. “Venom” became famous and became one of Bellator’s biggest stars due to his style that resembles that of the Brazilian Anderson Silva, with fights marked by low guard, provocations towards rivals and plastic blows.

Bellator 134 takes place this Friday (27), in Uncasville (USA). In the main fight of the night, the undefeated Liam McGeary challenges Emanuel Newton for the light heavyweight belt, with a weight limit of up to 93 kg.
