The UFC held its first event in Brazil in 2015 last Sunday (22), in the city of Porto Alegre (RS). And the result was not positive for the Brazilian fighters: out of ten Tupiniquin athletes, only three came out victorious, with the stars of the event, Antonio Pezão, Edson Barboza e Cezar Mutant, ended up losing.

Pezão was knocked out by Frank mir still in the first round, with a well-aimed cross to the chin followed by strikes on the ground. Barboza succumbed to Michael Johnson in the judges' decision, and Mutante suffered a hard knockout to Sam alvey.
The only ones who gave the fans reason to celebrate were Adriano Martins, who beat Rustam Khabilov, Ivan Batman, who beat Josh Shockley, and Douglas D'Silva, which surpassed Cody Gibson. However, the one who raised the crowd most at Ginásio Gigantinho was the Argentine Santiago Ponzinibbio, who defeated Sean Strickland.
