Even though he was one of the three Brazilians who emerged victorious from the octagon at UFC Fight Night 61, last Sunday (22) in Porto Alegre (RS), Adriano Martins from Manaus did not escape the boos of the Rio Grande do Sul fans, who did not like his fight against the Russian Rustam Khabilov. After the fight, Adriano took to social media to defend himself and said that he didn't go to the event thinking about the spectacle, but rather about achieving the triumph that would bring him closer to the top 15 in the light weight category.

Despite the outburst, Adriano apologized to the fans who were eventually not excited about the duel against Khabilov. “I apologize to the people who didn't like the fight, but those who follow our trajectory and our daily lives will understand perfectly what happened”, he concluded.
At 32 years old, Adriano Martins reached 27 wins and seven losses as a professional in MMA. DREAM veteran, Jungle Fight and Strikeforce now has a record of three wins and one loss inside the Octagon.
