Even though he was one of the three Brazilians who emerged victorious from the octagon at UFC Fight Night 61, last Sunday (22) in Porto Alegre (RS), Adriano Martins from Manaus did not escape the boos of the Rio Grande do Sul fans, who did not like his fight against the Russian Rustam Khabilov. After the fight, Adriano took to social media to defend himself and said that he didn't go to the event thinking about the spectacle, but rather about achieving the triumph that would bring him closer to the top 15 in the light weight category.

“I come here to thank all the people who supported, who sent positive energy through prayers, prayers and thoughts, thank you very much! And say that a fight is a fight. We didn't go in to put on a show, but rather to win the fight. We knew we had a challenge to enter the category's ranking and to do so it was necessary not only to fight based on emotion and heart, but also with intelligence. The main thing in all of this was to win and we came out with the victory”, highlighted the fighter, in a post on his official Instagram profile..
