The action towards Brandon thatch last Saturday (14), at UFC Fight Night 60, he made Benson Henderson gain morale with his boss. Ultimate's president, Dana White, said he was amazed by the performance of the former lightweight champion, who submitted an opponent from the top category having accepted the fight at short notice.

“I was so amazed by Benson Henderson. The size difference was insane,” commented White, at a press conference shortly after the fight. “Henderson undermined him from the first round onwards. Both Thatch's eyes were closing by the third round, but Benson didn't even look like he was in a fight. He is so tough and so talented that I was really impressed”, analyzed the manager.
The fight, which marked Henderson's welterweight debut, interrupted a run of two consecutive defeats by the former champion. Thatch suffered its first setback since 2008.
