UFC-105 takes place today in Manchester

Randy Couture vs. Brandon Vera

The city of Manchester will host the 105th edition of the UFC this Saturday. The show, which does not feature Brazilians on the card, will have as its main attraction the return of legend Randy Couture to the light heavyweight division to face Brandon Vera.

“I'm intrigued by the 93 kg division. There are great matchups for me here and I believe I have the weapons necessary to win,” said Couture. “Brandon Vera will be the first of these challenges. He is great at fighting on the feet, very fast and accurate with his kicks. He has also proven himself capable of taking down big heavyweights.”

UFC-105 will also feature English star Dan Hardy, who will face American Mike Swick, where the winner of the fight will be able to challenge Georges St Pierre for the welterweight title.

The English Michael Bisping, which comes from a defeat against Dan Henderson in issue 100, there is a scheduled battle with Canadian Denis Kang. Check out the full card:
