The year 2015 started with a lot of controversy in the UFC. In less than 40 days, two of the biggest names in the event in recent years were caught in surprise doping tests. In early January, Jon Jones was caught with cocaine before your fight against Daniel Cormier. In the last week, the Brazilian Anderson Silva tested positive for two anabolic steroids. But despite the rise in recent cases, another big sports star is demanding stricter doping control.

Now, with new cases announced, GSP is still not satisfied and demands more rigor.

“I don’t wish them anything bad; It's terrible what happened to Anderson Silva, for his career, and also for him physically. It's not my intention to attack anyone, either. I am not a traitor and I will never go public and say names to reporters. My only hope is that we treat this problem (with anabolic steroids). I hope that if one thing comes out of this, it is that testing is done more rigorously,” said St-Pierre in an interview with Canadian newspaper La Presse.

Shortly after the victory of Anderson Silva about Nick Diaz, on the 2nd, St. Pierre became considered as Anderson's next opponent for a superfight between two former champions of the event. However, the Canadian rejected the invitation and the Brazilian's doping should definitely end the possibility of fighting.
