One of the cards most affected by injuries in recent times, UFC 184 suffered another casualty this Tuesday (03): the cut of Yancy Medeiros, who would face Tony Ferguson on fight night, due to an injury suffered during training. However, the Ultimate organization acted quickly and already announced Brazilian Gleison Tibau as Medeiros' replacement.

With this fight, Gleison Tibau will reach the mark of 25 fights for the UFC. Thus, the Brazilian will reach second place on the list of fighters who played the most for the main MMA organization on the planet, tied with the former welterweight champion Matt hugs, and just two appearances behind the record holder Tito Ortiz, which has 27 clashes in the Octagon.
At 31 years old, Gleison Tibau has a professional record of 33 wins and ten losses. Currently outside the Top 15 in the lightweight category (up to 70,3 kg), Tibau is coming off a victory over Norman Parke on January 18, at UFC Fight Night 59, in Boston (USA).
Yes, Tony Ferguson, 30 years old, has a professional record of 17 wins and three losses. “El Cucuy”, as he is known, comes from four consecutive victories, over Katsunori Kikuno, Mike Rio, Danny Castillo and Abel Trujillo. Ferguson was also the champion of the 13th season of the reality show The Ultimate Fighter.
UFC 184 takes place on February 28th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles (USA). In the main fight of the night, the women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey face the undefeated challenger Zingano cat.
