Furthermore, the spouse, who also manages the company responsible for Vitor's career, spoke about the option of waiting for Weidman's return, and hinted that there is already a possible date for rescheduling the confrontation.
“With my company, Vitor belfort, I didn't close the negotiation I expected, when I asked (Yoel) Romero for the interim (belt). So, we decided to wait to fight Weidman in May. I know we will come back stronger than ever. We have faced many bad things, but with God we can overcome everything! I'm looking forward to rebuilding my gym and seeing what Vitor belfort making history and fighting for the belt in May. God is in control”, wrote Joana, who also reported the damage caused by the recent storms in the United States at her gym in Florida, on her official profile on Instagram.
