This Monday (26), North American authorities warned of what could be one of the worst snowfalls in the history of the United States. More than five thousand flights were cancelled, public transport was suspended and five states on the East Coast declared a state of emergency due to Storm Juno. Despite this, not even the extremely adverse weather conditions stopped the UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman to follow your training routine to combat Vitor belfort.

On your official profile on the social network Instagram, Weidman, who lives in the city of Baldwin, in the state of New York, one of the most affected by the storm, released an image in which he appears arriving for a training session under the snow alongside the fellow Ultimate athlete Stephen Thompson. “No blizzard will stop us. Preparing for the 'christening' of 'Wonderboy' in wrestling training at the first division level of the NCAA”, wrote the champion, who also released photos of his way back home on a completely frozen road.
Despite the series of precautions adopted by local authorities, Storm Juno, although quite severe, was not as strong as imagined. In New York City, for example, where it was thought that the snow accumulation could reach one meter, the level had not yet exceeded 16 cm in the early hours of this Tuesday morning (26).
On February 28th, in very different weather conditions, in sunny California, the middleweight champion Chris Weidman puts his belt on the line for the third time. The challenger for the title will be the Brazilian Vitor belfort. The duel is the main fight of UFC 184, which takes place at the Staples Center, in the city of Los Angeles.
