Rashad Evans predicts: 'Anthony Johnson will knock out Jon Jones with an uppercut'

"Rumble" training partner, former light heavyweight champion took to social media to celebrate his friend's victory over Alexander Gustafsson

Since moving to academia blackzilians, in Florida (USA), Anthony Johnson is undefeated. Last Saturday (24), he once again showed his impressive knockout power and silenced the public in Stockholm by beating the home athlete Alexander Gustafson in the main fight of UFC on FOX 14. Confirmed as the next challenger for the light heavyweight belt, “Rumble”, as he is known, received the trust of his training partner and former champion of the category Rashad evans, who did not hesitate to point out how his friend will surpass the title holder Jon Jones.

“I am extremely proud of my brother Anthony Johnson for its complete annihilation of Alexander Gustafson. Rumble's journey to get to where he is now is a story of inspiration. I am blessed to have the privilege of watching my brother develop as a wrestler and, most importantly, as a person. Anthony Johnson joined the blackzilians after the defeat to Vitor belfort, in January 2012, a result that confirmed his departure from the UFC after a series of problems making weight. Since then, “Rumble” has racked up nine consecutive victories, the last three back in the biggest MMA organization on the planet. In his career, Johnson has a record of 19 wins and four losses.
