Chiquerim wins Vale Tudo Japan belt

Brazilian Willamy Chiquerim is the new lightweight champion of Vale Tudo Japan, a traditional event in Japanese lands. This Friday the Brazilian beat Japanese Kenichiro Togashi by technical knockout two minutes into the fight and won the event belt.

Also on the show's card, Alexandre Pequeno ended up being knocked out by Takeshi Inoue in the fourth round.

In the main fight of the night, Japanese star Takanori Gomi returned to the ring and beat Tony Hervey by unanimous decision.
