UFC Fight Night 59, held last Sunday [18], represented another important chapter in the saga of Donald Cerrone in Ultimate. The 'Caubói', who, tirelessly, had his sixth fight in a year, being his second only in 2015, won his seventh in a row against his former tormentor, Benson Henderson, whom he overcame in a tight judges' decision.

After months and months of not taking his foot off the gas, Cerrone is already making plans for his next fight: he wants to face the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is immediately ahead of him in the official UFC rankings. However, Cerrone recognizes that, now, he needs to take time to rest.

“Winning seven in a row is a great feeling. Now it's time to rest and then talk to Dana [White] and Lorenzo [Fertitta]. I think Khabib will be my next [opponent], but I'm going to take some time to rest and then prepare. I hope Khabib is ready, but I’ll face whoever the UFC puts in front of me,” said the American.

Cerrone, 31, last lost in the UFC in April 2013, when he lost to Rafael dos Anjos. After that, 'Caubói' turned things around and won Evan dunham, Adriano Martins, Edson Barboza, Jim Miller, Eddie Alvarez, Myles Jury and, most recently, Henderson.
