Now it's official! The Brazilian Renan Barao will have the chance to regain the UFC bantamweight belt in the expected rematch against the North American TJ Dillashaw. Early this Sunday morning (Brasília time) the president of the franchise, Dana White, announced that the duel for the title will be the main attraction of UFC 186, an event that takes place on April 25th, in Montreal, Canada.

Dillashaw and Barão faced each other for the first time in May 2014, with the American surprising by stealing the belt from the Brazilian with a technical knockout. They would face each other again three months later, but Barão fell ill the day before the fight and was replaced by Joe Soto, who also lost with a technical knockout. The champion's next opponent would be Dominick Cruz, but the former champion was injured and is expected to be out of fights for a few months.
Maldonado x Rampage
In addition to Barão x Dillashaw, the director announced, in an interview with TV channel TSN, five more fights for the fight program. Among them, the return of Quinton Rampage Jackson the organization against the Brazilian Fabio Maldonado.
The North American, UFC light heavyweight champion between 2007 and 2008, will make his return to the main MMA organization on the planet after a stint at Bellator, where he won three wins in three fights. Maldonado comes from four consecutive victories in the under-93 kg division, having lost quickly against Stipe Miocic, in combat carried out in the upper division.
The other confirmed fights are: Rory McDonald against Hector Lombard, where the winner must be the next challenger for the welterweight belt. Michael Bisping against CB Dollaway and Patrick Cote faces Joe Rings.
UFC 186 will be Ultimate's first visit to Montreal since March 2013, when Georges St Pierre derrotou Nick Diaz to defend the welterweight belt.
