It was as expected! The Irish Conor McGregor made weight, confirmed the fight against German Dennis Siver and sent a message to the Brazilian José Aldo. In his last appointment before UFC Fight Night 59, an event that takes place next Sunday (18), in Boston, McGregor stepped on the scale at the official weigh-in and weighed in at 65,8 kg, the limit for the featherweight division. In turn, Siver used the pound of tolerance – around 450 grams – in duels that are not valid for the belt.

After the weigh-in, the controversial Irishman got up to no good. As soon as they faced him, he slapped his rival's hand and the fighters had to be restrained by Dana White, president of the franchise. In the interview, McGregor wasted no time and sent his message to the champion José Aldo. “You can tell the champion that I’m coming, huh….”, he said.

In another highlight of the weigh-in, Donald Cerrone caught attention. The fighter, who says he is addicted to adrenaline, will have his seventh fight in 14 months and joked with his rival Ben henderson. At the moment of the face-off, while Bendo was drinking water to rehydrate, the 'Cowboy' imitated the character 'Karate Kid' and stepped on his opponent's stomach, with great humor. The two laughed after the joke.

In addition to McGregor, another Irishman caught the eye. Welterweight Cathal Pendred took the Irish flag and the jersey of the Boston Celtics, a local basketball team, onto the scale. After confirming the fight against Sean Spencer, he turned to the fans, grabbed the famous 'selfie stick' and took his photo with the fans in the background.
