Champion of the strawweight division, Carla esparza The date and location of his first UFC belt defense have already been defined. It will take place on March 14, in Dallas, Texas (USA), in the co-main fight of UFC 185.

Your opponent will be the Polish Joanna Jedrzejczyk, first placed in the official ranking of the category. The undefeated 27-year-old fighter had two fights in the UFC against Brazilian athletes and won both. In June 2014, she surpassed Juliana “Ju Thai” Lima and, six months later, beat Claudia Gadelha in a controversial decision by the judges.
Esparza, also 27, won the UFC title when she became TUF 20 champion. In the tournament, she defeated Angela Hill, Tecia torres, Jessica penne e Rose namajunas. In professional MMA his record is 10 wins and two losses.
The main fight of UFC 185 will be a lightweight title fight between the champion, Anthony Pettis, and Rafael dos Anjos.
