“I wasn't addicted, but I felt that, as I was depressed and had a bad headache, the medicine made me a little drowsy. I decided to stop taking the medicine because otherwise I would end up becoming addicted. I stopped taking the medicine and filled the bathtub with ice. I was in pain, I put ice on it,” he said. Anderson, who has 39 fights as a professional, spoke about the importance of medication in his recovery. He said that, despite his long history in combat sports, he did not feel pain similar to that of the fracture.

“I thought I was used to the pain, but I wasn’t. I hope I don't have any more experience with pain. I don't wish it on anyone! A horrible pain! Bad. Now I'm fine, but it was months of a lot of pain,” she added.
