Nick Diaz will have a somewhat thankless task at UFC 183, when he will face the former middleweight champion Anderson Silva in the main fight of the attraction. However, he will have strong support for the fight, as the UFC women's bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, declared his support for the North American.

Despite also being a fan of Anderson, Ronda stated that she is a close friend of Diaz, with whom she has trained on a few occasions. “I'm really looking forward to Diaz x Silva. I really am. I love Nick and I root for him. Anderson Silva He's one of the best of all time and I've always been a fan, but I consider Nick like a brother and, of course, I'll be rooting for him. As a fan of the sport, I'm excited to see what will happen”, said the champion, in an interview with the program “UFC Tonight”, on the North American broadcaster “FOX Sports”.
the fight between Anderson Silva e Nick Diaz will headline UFC 183 on January 31st. If Anderson wins, the UFC has already confirmed that the former champion would fight for the belt again, against the winner of the fight between Chris Weidman e Vitor belfort, which will take place next month.
