Ricardo Cachorrão is injured and does not fight at UFC-106

The debut of Ricardo “Cachorrão” Almeida in the UFC welterweight category will have to wait a little longer. Coming from victory over Kendall grove in the middleweight division, the Brazilian was scheduled to face Jon fitch at UFC-106, but a knee injury will prevent the Brazilian from performing at the event that takes place on November 21, in Las Vegas, in the United States.

Jon Fitch himself announced the postponement of the fight via his Facebook page:

“My fight on November 21st is postponed, Almeida 'blown out' his knee.”, said the fighter.
