The climate between Jon Jones e Daniel Cormier Just a few days before the long-awaited fight at UFC 182 is really hot. Moments after the intense stare between the two on “Media Day”, on Thursday (1st), the athletes once again became strange behind the scenes of the event, leading a discussion that almost ended in reality.

This time, the disagreement even involved the fighters' staff. Jones' manager, Malki Kawa clashed with Rosendo Sanchez, Cormier's boxing trainer, and the light heavyweight champion was also involved in the confusion between the assistants.

The fight was recorded by former UFC fighter Tyson Griffin, who posted two brief videos of the incident on his Instagram account. “Jones clearly isn't going down on Cormier, but at least he chose nice words to use, unlike what he did when he thought the cameras were off! I'm not trying to say anyone is right or wrong in these videos. I just want to give an update on what's going on behind the scenes,” wrote Griffin, who added, “It's always cool to see Rosendo Sanchez and Malki catching up, but I don't know why Jones wanted to step in and protect him. My only question for Jones is: why are you going after a coach?”
