Alexandre Pequeno is Marcio Zé Pequeno
Champion of Rio Heroes, with five wins and just one loss in MMA, Marcio Soares, known as Zé Pequeno, passed away this Thursday. The news was given by one of the fighter's masters, Daniel D'dane, who still does not know the cause of death and is awaiting new information. Zé Pequeno, who is also a student of Alexandre Pequeno, was hospitalized in Minas Gerais and will be buried this Friday.
In addition to his achievements at Rio Heroes, an event played the old-fashioned way, without gloves, rounds or time, Zé Pequeno caught attention in one of the editions of Shooto Brasil, when he entered the fight wearing a Comlurb uniform and submitted Denílson Castro with a triangle.
“He was a great training partner and we are very sorry for this loss. He was a fighter,” commented D’Dane.
