The blow applied by Remus Orbocea at the RXF 15 event, in Bucharest, Romania, will fill the eyes of boxing fans. Just six seconds into the fight, the athlete sent Raul Sabou to the canvas with a well-aimed blow that was almost imperceptible to those watching the fight from the sidelines.
In boxing, the blow is known as the “ghost punch” and gained notoriety in May 1965, when none other than Muhammad Ali delivered the first knockout of Sonny Liston's career with a similar move. The fight was a rematch between the two, as, a year earlier, Ali had surprised the world by stealing his rival's belt.
