Shoe Face considers that the North American's style is favorable to his game, as Cummins, as a wrestler, could try to take him to the ground during the fight. “I only see positive things in this. I think he's a good fight both for my game and for the situation he's in in the UFC. It was very good for me, it couldn't have been better. What he wants is to put me on the ground, and on the ground I remain calm. He will take me to my comfort zone”, said the athlete, in a press conference accompanied by SUPER FIGHTS.

Even though he is about to have his first fight as a light heavyweight in the UFC, Shoe Face Already thinking about your next steps. The fighter says that there is the possibility of dropping weight once again, starting to perform at middleweight (up to 84 kg). “I never lost much weight and I ended up having a hand injury after TUF, which made me stop for a while. I don't think it would be positive if I went straight to middleweight, because it would be too much weight. I've never been on such a strict diet to reach 84 kg, but without a doubt it's a thought for the future. I think I'm very light at 93 kg and, if I do a good job and go to 84, my wingspan is very good. I have a 2,03 m wingspan and my height is good, too. But this has to be done cautiously, at the right time”, he warned.

At 24 years of age, Shoe Face has an undefeated record in professional MMA, with four wins in four fights. Cummins has six wins and one loss, 2-1 in the UFC. His setback was precisely on his debut, when he replaced Rashad evans at the last minute against Daniel Cormier.
