The days leading up to the TUF 20 Finale, an event held in the early hours of Saturday (13), were difficult for Charles of the Bronx. As soon as the fight started, Charles didn't want to take any chances with Stephens' standing game and quickly closed the distance and looked for the takedown. In a quick movement, he went for an armbar and even stretched his rival's arm on two occasions. However, the North American defended himself well and managed to stay alive in the dispute. After getting rid of the key, Jeremy still tried to stay on top, but do Bronx quickly got up and maintained control.

With the result, the Brazilian now has 19 wins and four losses in his professional career. The triumph also represented the third consecutive victory for the São Paulo native in 2014.
