Contrary to what was reported by the international press, the Brazilian Anderson Silva He denied that he had any type of injury to his elbow and that he would undergo surgical treatment. The UFC middleweight champion also stated that he was surprised by the news that had spread about this fact in recent days.
“I don’t know of any injuries to my elbow,” said Spider, smiling. “I want to know who hurt me…”, he added.
The UFC has planned the fight for Frank mir and Cheick Kongo for UFC 107 in December. However, Anderson was contacted and said he was interested in a fight against Mir in the heavyweight category.
“I am 200% healthy and have no injuries. Ultimate can put the next fight on whenever they want and I'll be ready. I am interested in fighting Mir, he could be next”, said the Brazilian.
