For the third time in 2014, the UFC will hold an event that will put two of its belts at stake. UFC 181, which will take place this Saturday (6), in Las Vegas (USA), will feature the first title defenses by Anthony Pettis, in the light ones, and John hendricks, at welterweight.

Pettis hasn't fought since the fight in which he won the title, in August 2013. Since then, “Showtime” injured his knee and was out of action. However, he guarantees that the time down will not be a problem, even if his opponent is the tough former Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez, who believes that the fight could represent his last chance to fight for the belt.
Hendricks also stepped into the Octagon for the last time when he won the title in March against the same Robbie Lawler who he will face at UFC 181. In the fight, the champion injured his arm and underwent surgery, and Lawler remained active by having two fights (and winning them), earning the right to a rematch.
