Announced in a special press conference this Tuesday (02), the contract between the UFC and Reebok for exclusive development of uniforms for athletes pleased most fighters. Through their social media profiles, some of the organization's main names expressed themselves positively regarding the news. Contrary to the majority, however, the controversial Nate diaz He was categorically against and destroyed the agreement.

“Here to your shitty uniforms: F*** you,” the fighter posted on his official Twitter profile. Minutes later, in a sarcasm tone, Nate wrote another message. “Oh, sh*t, my phone was hacked today,” joked his younger brother. Nick Diaz, in reference to several episodes in which athletes claimed to have had their devices hacked after becoming involved in controversies on social media.

So far, the Ultimate organization has not officially taken a position on the comments of Nate diaz and, therefore, did not reveal whether the athlete will be punished for the messages. The contract between UFC and Reebok is valid for six years and its values ​​have not been disclosed. According to president Dana White, the entire amount raised in the agreement, which comes into force in July 2015, will be distributed to the athletes, who will be classified into groups based on their positions in the official ranking. From next year's “International Fight Week”, athletes are prohibited from using materials other than those provided by the organization and the brand during fights, weigh-ins and official events, as well as the exposure of other personal sponsors.
