Coming from two defeats, the Brazilian believes that the long periods he was inactive, without fighting, have hindered the last challenges. With a new opportunity just over two months after his last performance, he hopes to regain his good form.
“It will be a restart in my career, a fresh start”, he says, who is excited to be performing at Maracanãzinho, once the scene of great fights.
“I'm very happy to fight there, because, for me, that's where it all started. The first MMA fight I saw, on video, was there, when Marco Ruas (Rizzo's master) faced Fernando Pinduka, in the 80s. It was the first fight in the sport that I watched and fighting at Maracanãzinho will be an honor” , ends.
