Henry Chocolate
Henrique Nogueira, also called Chocolate, is another fighter on the Bitetti Combat card. Eduardo Pamplona's opponent on September 12th, at Maracanãzinho, Henrique counts most of his fights outside Brazil, in organizations such as the now extinct Cage Rage. Even though he hasn't fought in a year, the fighter intends to do well next Saturday.
“I hope I don’t feel the rhythm. Honestly, when we don't fight for a year, we always feel some difficulty. But I trained a lot. I've been focused for six months and I intend to provide a great show that people will really enjoy. I will give my all”, she adds.
As for Pamplona, Chocolate knows it won't be easy in the octagon. However, only victory matters.
“It's a great opponent and for me it's a privilege to face Pamplona, who are coming off great struggles. I think he's a very tough guy, a very good striker. It will be a very tough fight, but I can't lose”, he says, and, if he wins, he believes he will soon have good opportunities.
“The projection of this event will certainly put a lot of people out there to fight and with good purses”, he bets.
And to win, Henrique counts on the support of Nova União. “I'm preparing with Dedé (Pederneiras) and the team is giving me a lot of strength. Geovanni Diniz is helping me with boxing and the physical preparation with Rodrigo and Baby is excellent. I’ll be just fine,” he signs off.
