Chris Weidman has dinner with Ronda Rousey and says blonde is his 'lucky charm'

In two of his three victories in middleweight title fights, the American Chris Weidman had the company of Ronda Rousey on the same card – at UFC 168, in December 2013, and at UFC 173, in July this year. Therefore, the champion already believes that it is Ronda who has brought him luck and made a point of recording his dinner with the “amulet”, as he himself said, this Wednesday (19).

“I just met my lucky charm and Queen of MMA Ronda Rousey”, published Weidman on his official profile of Instagram along with the dinner photograph. In the image, in addition to Ronda, the champion's mother, Mary Weidman, also appears.

If the superstition of Chris Weidman is justifiable, the North American has plenty of reasons to be excited for the duel against Vitor belfort, on February 28th, in Los Angeles (USA). This because Ronda Rousey, who would initially fight in January, had his fight transferred to the same event and for the third time in a row he will share a card with Weidman. In the co-main fight of the night, Rousey puts her title on the line against the challenger Zingano cat.
