After being out of fights for the whole of 2014, Anderson Silva could reveal a new talent from next year. The fighter, the biggest record holder for title defenses in the history of the UFC, said that he is working on a television series project, written by himself and which could feature his performance.

“Spider” avoided giving further details about the project, but added that the plan is already underway. After the end of recording TUF Brasil 4, a program in which he will be one of the coaches alongside Mauritius Shogun, the former champion will devote more attention to the series.

“In 2015 I will have TUF and, as soon as I finish recording the reality, I have some things in Brazil to resolve. I have a project for a series that I'm developing and I hope it works out. It has nothing to do with fighting, it's a police series that I wrote myself and we're working on a script. Let's see if, in the middle of next year, we already have the body of the series assembled to get going. I believe he will also work on this project”, said the fighter, in an interview with the “Combate” channel website.

Anderson, who also dreams of a career as an actor, says he is studying his next projects in the area. “The acting career is going – slowly, but going. I have some new things appearing and a lot of good things coming again. But I’m taking it slowly, I’m not in a rush because I want to do things right and properly,” he said.

Before thinking about his series project, Anderson will have an important commitment at the beginning of next year. On January 31st, in Las Vegas (USA), the former champion will face Nick Diaz in his first fight after the fracture suffered against Chris Weidman, in December 2013. The fight will headline UFC 183.
