At the beginning of the month, the UFC promised a press conference for this Monday (17) in Las Vegas (USA) which would bring a “big announcement”, with some of the organization’s biggest stars being present, such as Anderson Silva, Vitor belfort, Jon Jones, Chris Weidman, Ronda Rousey and company. The expectation was all created. However, the long-awaited news did not come.
Asked by a journalist what the announcement would be, UFC president Dana White threw cold water: “There won't be a big announcement. We couldn’t get everything straightened out in time for the press conference”, said the director.
At the press conference, with the participation of athletes who will take part in some of the biggest fights in the coming months, it was 2015 draft calendar released, with 45 events.
