UFC president Dana White recently commented on the participation of fighter and personal friend Chuck Liddell on “Dancing with the Stars”, a dance program between American celebrities. The manager stated that it is important for the fighter to occupy his time with this new activity.
“I think it’s interesting,” White said. “It’s great, because he (Liddell) needs something to do with his time right now.”
Dana White publicly stated that the former UFC champion would be retired since his defeat to the Brazilian Mauricio Shogun, in April this year, but asked the fighter to stay in fighting shape.
“(Liddell and I) were working together in Philadelphia (during the week of UFC 101),” White said. "You saw him? He told me he weighed 105kg, but he was full, looking like he weighed 115kg”, joked Dana.
“I said, 'You have to weigh 97kg by September 15th. So we have a $10 bet agreed upon,” she said.
