Brazilian Kalindra Faria controversially left her contract with XFC in Brazil to sign with the international organization WSOF and compete for the event's strawweight belt. But the champion Jessica Aguilar dominated the fight and won with a unanimous decision from the judges. Jessica, who is considered by many to be the best fighter in the world in the up to 52 kg category, found a brave opponent in the Brazilian. But the champion managed to overcome the difficulties of her size, escape the Brazilian's dangerous striking and take it to the ground combat in important moments of the fight. In the end, Jessica Aguilar won the unanimous decision of the judges (49×45, 49×45, 49×45).
In the main fight of WSOF 15, the zebra walked. The former UFC belt challenger, Yushin Okami was knocked out by Dave Branch. The North American scored the knockdown with a straight right, went up and settled the score with another series of punches on his opponent.
If Brazilian Kalindra Faria failed to win the belt, the other Brazilian on the card did well. Veteran Jorge Patino Macaco defeated Eric Reynolds via unanimous decision by the judges.
